PHOTOSHOP: How do you use textures? I have downloaded a few but I don't know what do to with them as such.?

More or less, what do you do with them. Please help :)PHOTOSHOP: How do you use textures? I have downloaded a few but I don't know what do to with them as such.?
In case you have a big texture as a file: Resize your texture to the size of the file you want to apply it, then copy and paste it to your file, PS makes a new layer by default, then change the new layer blending mode and opacity to one that you like.

If you want to see the ones installed into PS you can find them in Filter/Texture/Texturizer.

Here is a good example of what you can achieve http://www.flickr.com/photos/8078381@N03鈥?/a>PHOTOSHOP: How do you use textures? I have downloaded a few but I don't know what do to with them as such.?
Neither of these are really what I was looking for in truth, but thank you anyway.

What I mean is, I know how to put a texture on but I don't really know how to apply a texture to a picture, what goes with what how to make it fancy. Report Abuse

Textures are used most with text to create cool unique fonts.
