Also, I don't like to always style it straight, but everytime I try to scrunch it with mousse, volume gel, and a diffuser it just looks like a bad perm from the 80s...its all fluffy and frizzy, when what I'm going for is pretty, subtle waves! Try some John Freida Frizz Ease. Put it on your hair while it is still wet. The you can let it dry naturally (curls) or blow dry it. It well help the shine and cut down the frizz.
put chewing gum in it
Use the african american hair oil products. they're great for dry hair.
