I don't look for secret messages exactly but I do pay attention to images I see when I look at random textures because I figure that's MY brain making sense out of nothing and those images must be coming from some part of me. For example, if I look at the clouds and see foods, I know that it must be getting close to mealtime, even if I'm not feeling hungry yet.Does anyone else on here stare at their ceilings and try to find secret messages in the texture?

My scalp was pretty messed up after I used it, I used it thinking it was a ';mild'; texturizer...but what it really is is a relaxer simply advertised for children. It did loosen up my tighter curls, but made other pieces really straight, so I ended up having a weird hair texture. It also made my hair really brittle and dry. So I basically had to cut off all my hair and start all over natural.

Tips on texturing a house?
i have been remodeling a bathroom and we have got the walls in and i would like a few pointers on what type of compressor to use with a texturing gun with a hopper... and any tips on how to texture using the gun and hopper.

Any compressor that has an output of 50-70 psi will work. The biggest mistake most 1st timers make is not thinning the mud down enough. Depending on the texture you want,whether a orange peel finish, or a knock down, I leave the muc a little stiffer for the oranger peel, and a little thinner for the knock down. You just need to practice on some large pieces of cardboard to see how your texture comes out. As for applying the texture, I start at the top, moving horizonzly, in 4 foot wide swathes. If you decide to do a knock down style of texturing. use the biggest drywall knife you have. I happen to use a pan knife made for this, but a 12 or 16 inch knife works fine to. Spray your texture, let stand for a bit, then lightly run your knife vertically to achieve the thickness desired. Have fun and if you make a mistake, scrap of the texture before it sets up.Tips on texturing a house?
i found leaving the texture mix sit over night makes it come out very smooth when sprayed no globs or bumps that need to be scraped off later

Penis head texture (keratinization)?
Sorry for a bit of a graphic topic. Most circumcised males have a keratinized penis head. Which makes it appear dry (you might have little lines or cracks on your head) and a little beat up. This is from the rubbing on your clothing and the exposure to the air. Uncircumcised males have moist skin covering the glans. Does anybody know a way to restore the surface of your head? Yes there is, but you can only do it if you keep your head covered.
I have restored the surface of my head and it is about twice as sensitive. But in order to get that your glans can't be exsposed, I don't care how much utter creame or what ever you put on it, if your head is still rubbing against your pants it's still going to have that keratinization.
I am restoring my foreskin. I use devices that tug on my skin and get more skin to grow. over about a year I will have enough skin to have full coverage. It looks 100% real and it keeps my head covered, moist, and sensitive. When your head gets that keratinization it becomes a lot less sensitive as well.
A way you could do this without restoring your foreskin (If you don't want to do that because you like the cut look) you can buy Senslips. I have a few pairs. They are wonderful. They are basicaly slip on foreskins and they protect your head all day long and get de-keratinize your penis. They restore the surface of your head. My restoration device covers my head all day, but at night (to prevent my head from getting hard again) I wear the senslip. After a while you won't be able to not wear it. Your glans will get sensitive and it will feel bothersome and itchy against your clothes.
This makes your orgasms last longer and makes them more intese. It also makes sex more enjoyable for you and your partner.
I would look into both and see what appeals to you more.
I know the senslips were a GREAT idea. Believe me, just tryone out, for at least 3 weeks. Then take it off and walk around the house and you will notice the HUGE difference in sensiritivy. Your head won't like not having a protective covering.

Probably the best thing you can use is an alcohol-free hand cream, prepared by a pharmacist (not a cream commercially produced because those contain drying agents like alcohol, though there are many other drying agents that irritate the skin). You will need to re-apply such a cream a few times a day (use just enough to slick over the surface). One other thing you can do is to wear all-cotton underwear, but if you are a runner or are otherwise regularly involved in athletics so there is a lot of motion down there, that might not be enough help. If I were you, though, I would ask a doctor or a physician's assistant or nurse -- and a lot of other circumcised guys -- for advice. Certainly you are not the first man with this question...

You haven't mentioned the most important part, the graphics card. How to Texture Over Wood
Step1
Prime all wood surfaces before texturing. On cedar or redwood, you must use a shellac or oil primer otherwise the tannin in the wood will stain through your texture and even through the paint. Texture will not adhere well to shiny wood paneling so it should be primed to accept the texture. Most wood is more absorbent than plaster or drywall, and whether you spray on a texture or do it by hand, it is likely to flake off later on. Apply your primer and let it dry for the recommended time before texturing.
Step2
Fill in the gaps and grooves in wood paneling with texture after you prime it. Use a 4'; putty knife and apply drywall joint compound to each groove. Try not to get too much excess on the surrounding wood. Because joint compound shrinks as it dries, you will need to do this twice, letting it dry in between coats. Use a drywall sanding block or pad sander to sand the paneling smooth. You can skip this step if you plan on putting on a fairly heavy texture by hand but if you are going to spray texture, it will not hide the unsanded areas.
Step3
Buy or rent a texture sprayer to spray texture on wood. You can do an orange peel or splatter texture (refer to the instructions on the texture sprayer for the correct tip to use for each finish) or a knock down, where you spray on the texture and then flatten it down with an 8'; or 10'; drywall knife. Spraying texture is a very messy job and you will need plenty of plastic sheeting and masking tape to cover door openings, electrical outlets, floors, windows and everything else before starting. If you are not texturing the ceiling, remember to mask that off as well. Dried texture can be cleaned up with wet rags but that is messy and time consuming and may ruin some surfaces. Masking thoroughly is the best plan of attack.
Step4
Thin the texture according to manufacturers recommendations before running it through the texture sprayer. You need at least two clean buckets and a mixer attachment for your drill to thoroughly mix the texture. Use one to mix the texture and the other filled with clean water in which to rest the mixer attachment and any other tools to prevent them from drying out in between uses.
Step5
Use a light, even pressure when spraying texture. Remember you can always go back and fill in parts that are too light, but getting it too heavy on any area is a real mess. Use long, sweeping strokes. Be especially careful not to apply too much in corners.
Step6
Hand applying texture takes longer but you can achieve many different effects. For hand troweling texture, it is easier to buy the ready-mixed joint compound which is already a correct consistency. Fill your mud pan with enough compound to do a large area. A 6'; drywall knife is generally the best tool to use for putting on a Mediterranean type heavy texture. Work in random areas and patterns so you don't get ridges or lines at the juncture of areas worked on. Do one whole wall at a time if you can.
Step7
Prime all textured finishes before painting with PVA or drywall sealer. Even though the underlying surface has been primed, the texture also needs a coat of primer so the finished painted wall will be washable and look its best.

I'm wondering how I can import a texture in maya and use it on a surface? Like importing a jpeg of grass.

Ok Iv only just started a full time course in maya but Im pretty sure this is how you do it. (If i get the a menu name wrong just go to the closest thing to it)
Go in to 'window' then select 'render' then 'hypershade' the hypershade window will then appear (preferrably tear off the window so you can movie it around). Scroll down the side menu of the hypershade window and select 'file'. Two boxes will appear in the black area of the hypershade window. Selecr the box on the right. Then press Ctrl + a and the atribute editor will appear. In the atribute editor there is a little file button (looks like a folder) you will see next to a text box that will contain the file name. Click on the file button pick your file. Then back in hypershade middle-mouse drag the second box (it should have your file on it) onto your object. If it does not show up, go into the menu in the corner of the actual window your object is in and select renderers and then tick 'high quality render'. Then press '6' on your keyboard and it should work

my hair in my teens used to be thick textured but as I aged (now 27) it's changed into medium. According to my family, my hair texture is following along my mother's side. Tofu texture!!!?
I love Noodles and Co.'s tofu, but I have NO idea how to make it! I've looked at recipes online, and I've tried TONS, but I can't get the texture like Noodle's and Co. has it. When I make it, its mushy (I use firm tofu), and Noodle's and Co. has it firmer (more rubbery.. I know it doesn't sound good to be rubbery, but that's the texture I'm looking for). Anyone have any ideas on how to make the tofu firmer when I put it in the frying pan??Tofu texture!!!?
Put the tofu in zipploc bag without water and freeze it. Thaw it out in the refrigerator before you use it. Or you could put the tofu in water and add whatever seasonings you like then freeze. Thaw it out by filling a pan with water and then put the baggie in the water and turn the stove on medium heat. If you have a gas stove be very careful and stick the whole baggie in the water. If it sticks out of the water any the bag will melt and cause big problems. Boil until the tofu is completely thawed. Normally 15 minutes.
With the water version the seasonings will be totally infused in the tofu. Marinating doesn't even compare.

Drain %26amp; rinse a block of tofu. Dry it, place it in a pan %26amp; put another heavy pan or plate on it to press it. Some of the liquid will be pressed out in about 2 hours or so.
Actually, I would suggest baking it. I just had some last night that I cut into cubes and marinated overnight in Annie's Tuscan Dressing. I baked it in a 375 degree oven for about 45 minutes, stirring about every 15 minutes. You may have to bake longer until it gets to the texture you want. After I was done baking it, I spread it out on a sheet pan and broiled it for about 5 minutes............the texture and flavor came out perfectly.

Yeah I would definetly freeze it. That's the only way to make it more firm.
Season and bake your tofu............for a while....................I mean like you would cook well done meat. Your other option is to freeze the tofu then bake. it gives the tofu a chewy/spongy texture for some reason.
Freezing it is a great way to keep it firm. Also be sure to press out ALL of the water (use towels).

Freeze your tofu. That will give it a chewier texture. Check my profile for tips.
Drain %26amp; rinse a block of tofu. Dry it, place it in a pan %26amp; put another heavy pan or plate on it to press it. Some of the liquid will be pressed out in about 2 hours or so.
Actually, I would suggest baking it. I just had some last night that I cut into cubes and marinated overnight in Annie's Tuscan Dressing. I baked it in a 375 degree oven for about 45 minutes, stirring about every 15 minutes. You may have to bake longer until it gets to the texture you want. After I was done baking it, I spread it out on a sheet pan and broiled it for about 5 minutes............the texture and flavor came out perfectly.

Yeah I would definetly freeze it. That's the only way to make it more firm.
Season and bake your tofu............for a while....................I mean like you would cook well done meat. Your other option is to freeze the tofu then bake. it gives the tofu a chewy/spongy texture for some reason.
Freezing it is a great way to keep it firm. Also be sure to press out ALL of the water (use towels).

I want to re-dye my hair black, but I have to do at home because my hairdresser believes if I put permanent dye in my hair, my hair will fall out. Its been permanently died twice already by another hair dresser, but I can't go to her because she was in Rochester and I live in NYC. Plus, I need to save money.

I just want feedback from people who have used it. Also, I noticed two different shades of black, natural black and silken black. Does anyone know the difference? Your stylist may have said that your hair will fall out because maybe you have had a relaxer before. Relaxers are very damaging to the hair and when you mix anything (perm, bleach, ammonia) with relaxer, there will be trouble. Also, color doesnt take as well when relaxer is in it, so you may go to wash your hair the next couple days and it will all wash out. If she said not to do it, I wouldn't do it because she probably has bad expierences with your same situation. I work at a salon and a girl lied to one of my coworkesrs that she never had a relaxer and went to get highlights... well her hair FELL OUT and she had to get it chopped off. but if you MUST do it, go for the ammonia free formula. :)Clairol Texture and Tones - is it really good? I recently discovered that DirectX Diagnostics was reporting that my AGP texture accelerator is disabled and greyed out so I cannot enable it. I know it was enabled before because I just installed a game telling me it was off and the game may not run smoothly.

I've downloaded DirectX 9 and a 3D update and tried to download a software development kit which is for C/C++ which took ages, got to 1 sec left and then my computer crashed. My hair, for the most part, is straight. However, i have a nappy texture to it. It looks nice when I set it with big rollers, but it's kind of pain to do that every day esp, when I'm running late in the morning.
Any recommended products or treatments?
p.s. I do have color treated hair but I've been dying it darker (natural color is dirty blonde)for the past year, so it's not totally fried from perioxide. Plus, I've always seem to have this problem.

Whether you want to tame-- or explore-- your curly side, try Miss Jessie's Curly or Baby Buttercream (I like the Baby better-- it doesn't smell as strong). It has natural ingredients, keeps your hair hydrated so it doesn't look fried, and leaves hair really manageable.
Check out the ';tons of pictures'; link on the site and see if there's anyone with hair like you. That's how I decided to try it. Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey. I started with a small size, now I think it's worth it.

I'm re-doing my bathroom. I took all of the wallpaper off, and want to paint it. my question is, my whole house is textured, pretty heavily, and was wondering if I should also texture my bathroom to match the rest of the house, or can I do it without heavy texturing. We live in a not so great apartment with very ugly off white walls. And not only an ugly color, in the past tenants were ALLOWED to paint so its built up many layers and looks like garbage. I would like to add some texture to the small bathroom where it is the worst.. I cannot use regular paint because it is a lease violation now. Border is allowed, however it NEEDS more than that. The bathroom is a half bath and very tiny.
Are there any non permanent paints that would do the trick? I need something that won't smudge off super easy, yet will come off if I scrub at it a couple years from now if we move. I need to be able to show them it will come off when I have an inspection. I have to pay to have it painted upon leaving anyway, but they are fussy during the bi yearly inspections. The directions are easy to find online, just put ';wallpapering with fabric'; in the search.

I have an older version of Photoshop Elements, I also have Microsoft Digital Imaging Suite. I want to know where I can get textures and how to apply them to my pictures like I'm always seeing on Deviantart.com. Also is there anything else I can do to spice up my photos? I don麓t have elements right now, but in Photoshop you can easily do it as I explain and probably also in Elements, so give it a try:
You can right click the layer you want textured and select expressions from the list, or select it and click on the button named fx on the bottom left of the panel.
Then you can select lots of things, like textures, shadows, bevel and lots of other edge effects, so as to answer the second part of your question.
You can also try a very nice plugin, the Akvis Frame suite, which can add lots of professional textures and also frames to your images.

I don麓t have elements right now, but in Photoshop you can easily do it as I explain and probably also in Elements, so give it a try:
You can right click the layer you want textured and select expressions from the list, or select it and click on the button named fx on the bottom left of the panel.
Then you can select lots of things, like textures, shadows, bevel and lots of other edge effects, so as to answer the second part of your question.
You can also try a very nice plugin, the Akvis Frame suite, which can add lots of professional textures and also frames to your images.
