Has anyone used any of the Pantene texture products on their hair? I have flat hair and need a lift.?

I currently use it and don't really SEE much of a difference, so I use the following for extra lift %26amp; volume:

- Aveda's phomollient styling foam

- Phyto's volumizer spray (this stuff is GREAT)

My hair is shoulder length with long layers and this combo is by far the best I have come up with. Aveda also has a produce called Magic Potion (or something like that), it's in a small green bottle %26amp; it's a power you rub into the roots--if time is your concern this might work best for you.Has anyone used any of the Pantene texture products on their hair? don't use pantene it has alot of waxes, and will weigh hair down, go to a beauty supply store, stay away from the cheap products, they can help you outHas anyone used any of the Pantene texture products on their hair? I have flat hair and need a lift.?
Try Dove shampoo and conditioner, It works great!
pantene is soooo bad 4 ur hair ( =
Yes I have used it, and the conditioner did make my hair feel a little waxy. I would reccommend using a body enhancing mousse, waxy products will weigh your hair down %26amp; make it flatter!

Clairol Texture and Tones - is it really good? Natural black vs. Silken Black? Dark and Lovely hair dye?

I want to re-dye my hair black, but I have to do at home because my hairdresser believes if I put permanent dye in my hair, my hair will fall out. Its been permanently died twice already by another hair dresser, but I can't go to her because she was in Rochester and I live in NYC. Plus, I need to save money.

Back to the point, I've been looking at different dyes and I noticed Clairol Texture and Tones. I'm really interested in it especially since they say it's 100% ammonia free. I just want feedback from people who have used it. Also, I noticed two different shades of black, natural black and silken black. Does anyone know the difference? The silken black just looks a bit shinier than the natural black.

Also, what about Dark and Lovely hair color? They say it has a little bit of ammonia, but I rather go for the ammonia free dye. Dark and Lovely has 3 shades of black - jet, natural, and midnight. Are the differences minor or major?

So, any feedback will be good in helping me choose!Clairol Texture and Tones - is it really good? Natural black vs. Silken Black? Dark and Lovely hair dye?
Tone is the warmth or coolness of a color. So it may have a redish, or purpleish shade to it when light hits it. Your stylist may have said that your hair will fall out because maybe you have had a relaxer before. Relaxers are very damaging to the hair and when you mix anything (perm, bleach, ammonia) with relaxer, there will be trouble. Also, color doesnt take as well when relaxer is in it, so you may go to wash your hair the next couple days and it will all wash out. If she said not to do it, I wouldn't do it because she probably has bad expierences with your same situation. I work at a salon and a girl lied to one of my coworkesrs that she never had a relaxer and went to get highlights... well her hair FELL OUT and she had to get it chopped off. but if you MUST do it, go for the ammonia free formula. :)Clairol Texture and Tones - is it really good? if your hairdresser says your hair will break off, it most likely will...anywho, it all depends on the condition of your hair before you put the color in, and how you treat it afterwards to determine if it works good. the differences in color are minor but noticeable...natural black is the lightest black their is, it's realistic...silken black %26amp; jet black are about the same, they are the darkest black you can get...midnight black is more blue black

AGP texture accelerator disabled?

I recently discovered that DirectX Diagnostics was reporting that my AGP texture accelerator is disabled and greyed out so I cannot enable it. I know it was enabled before because I just installed a game telling me it was off and the game may not run smoothly.

Anyways, my graphics card is:

Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.AGP texture accelerator disabled?
You do not have an AGP graphics card, you have an integrated card, meaning you cannot use that. For maximum game performance, you need a video card.

  • What texture would artemis relate with?

plzz answerWhat texture would artemis relate with?
Artemis is the Greek goddess of hunting and fertility.

She was often depicted with the crescent of the moon above her forehead and was sometimes identified with Selene (goddess of the moon). Her main vocation was to roam mountain forests and uncultivated land with her nymphs in attendance hunting for lions, panthers, hinds and stags.

    here's a link 2 a picture of her:

DirectX problem again. DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture acceleration are not available.?

I've downloaded DirectX 9 and a 3D update and tried to download a software development kit which is for C/C++ which took ages, got to 1 sec left and then my computer crashed. How can I get them to be available? All I want to do is use Nero which I can't while my hardware acceleration is deactivated.DirectX problem again. Are you sure the video card you have supports it? Usually just getting the newest video drivers and directx9c is enough as long as the video card supports it.

One Chinese persons hair texture can differ from another.

So can afghan's and spanish people.

I have thick wavy by no means straight hair and dark. One of my cousins has blond thick but straighter hair. One has the ';typical'; hispanic hair, just as my children's hair is different one is dark and straight one is blond and wavy/curly.

You can have various difference within the culture. There is no one type of hair texture for a culture. How does a chinese person's hair texture differ from an afghan/spanish person's hair?
It doesn't really differ imo. All three nationalities generally have straight hair.
    theirs go the other way.

    Hair texture problem?

I seem to be having a perpetual bad hair day.

My hair, for the most part, is straight. However, i have a nappy texture to it. It looks nice when I set it with big rollers, but it's kind of pain to do that every day esp, when I'm running late in the morning.

    Any recommended products or treatments?

p.s. I do have color treated hair but I've been dying it darker (natural color is dirty blonde)for the past year, so it's not totally fried from perioxide. Plus, I've always seem to have this problem.

many thanks in advanceHair texture problem?
Oh, do I feel for you! I joined posting here because I was frustrated by my PERPETUAL bad hair days and was seeking help too. I had to learn to stop fighting my texture and learn to embrace it. Here's what I've come across:

Whether you want to tame-- or explore-- your curly side, try Miss Jessie's Curly or Baby Buttercream (I like the Baby better-- it doesn't smell as strong). It has natural ingredients, keeps your hair hydrated so it doesn't look fried, and leaves hair really manageable.

Check out the ';tons of pictures'; link on the site and see if there's anyone with hair like you. That's how I decided to try it. Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey. I started with a small size, now I think it's worth it.

    Good Luck!Hair texture problem?
Put an anti-freeze product throughout and then put it up into a tight bun until you have to leave. When you let it loose it should be in nice waves
